Approach

ARC follows a government-led and patient-centric approach that supports ministries of health in coordinating the range of resources available to them to provide accessible, efficient, and effective public health services.

ARC acts as a trusted strategic advisor to its various supply chain stakeholders in Africa to address these needs of ministries of health. ARC achieves this through placing specialist resources called “Enablers” into ministries of health who provide independent strategic advice to governments. These Enablers advocate for supply chain strategies to be included in national healthcare strategies and budgets and seek to strengthen the alignment of supply chain stakeholders and governance processes to coordinate partners in line with the national supply chain improvement roadmaps.
